Radar: light snow falling to the SW with dry conditions in the mountains. 

The Forecast:  Well, the convergence zone didn’t come through for us last night; you win some and loose some.  The light snow showers will diminish today with a drying trend underway.

Long Range: The weekend will be mostly dry with clear periods. 
  
The Science: A high pressure ridge will begin to move over the region tonight setting up a few days of dry and mostly clear weather. 

The next system of interest is a warm front approaching on Monday.  As of now, freezing levels rise to +-4000’ with moderate precipitation expected late Monday night into Tuesday.  Those details will likely change as things mature. 

Forecast confidence: good through the weekend and poor to fair for Monday/Tuesday’s storm.
