Radar: Bands of high clouds moving north of Yakima with light moisture falling in the Columbian Gorge.

The Forecast: Mild temperatures again today with increasing clouds. Hit repeat for tomorrow with thickening clouds.  

Long Range:  Mixed rain and snow is expected on Wednesday and then again on Friday.   
  
The Science: Satellite images have an upper level low approaching the Oregon coast this morning.  The North Central Cascade Mountains will only get clouds with the moisture remaining to south.  Warm air will remain in place under SSE flow aloft through early Wednesday morning.

As the weak progresses, the jet stream begins to take a more northerly trajectory. Several storms developing with in the zonal flow will begin to track through the region starting on Wednesday.  There is cool air available for some mixing, so for now, expect a wet pattern with mixed forms for the second half of the week.
