Sky:                               high overcast
Radar:  the leading edge of the approaching moisture is just entering the South Sound region.

Mid- morning storm update:  no significant changes to this morning forecast.

The moisture should start falling around noon today with rain to start.  There will be a short dose of snow with the moisture being cut off late tonight.   Freezing levels will fall to 4500’ early this evening and fall to +-3500’ by 4am tomorrow.   Temperatures remain in favor of snow tomorrow. 

Things get more interesting tomorrow and Sunday with moderate snow expected tomorrow and heavy snow, possibly changing to rain on Sunday.  Stay tuned as those details get ironed out.
