Long Range:  A weak trough will affect the PNW Tuesday night and Wednesday, bringing light snow at low freezing levels. Thursday and Friday are trending cool and dry.
  
The Science: A weak trough will exit the region today, with high pressure moving in behind it. The lower levels of the atmosphere will still have a high relative humidity so cloudy conditions are likely today, with clearing overnight. A cooler and drier airmass will sink into the PNW tonight lowering freezing levels.
