The Forecast: Mostly dry with
clearing today. Increasing clouds tomorrow
with a chance of snow on Friday
Long Range. A few inches of snow is expected
on Friday with the Saturday trending dry.
Another system arrives on Sunday with more snow likely. With some luck, we could have an additional 6-10”
of snow on the ground heading into final week of 2019.
The Science: The high pressure ridge over
eastern Washington is confining the incoming moisture to western Washington. The ridge will strengthen a bit today which
will allow for some clearing and sunbreaks.
The ridge will flatten tomorrow and drift east.
This will open the door for westerly flow to drive in a disturbance early
Friday morning. Freezing levels will be in
favor of snow through this event.
Confidence: Good.

4am today through 4am tomorrow.
