Time and Day: Monday 11/10/2014
The Snapshot: The week will start out sunny
and cold. There is a high wind warning
tomorrow as cold easterlies crank through the Pass.
The Science: High pressure is currently strengthening over
the PNW. This will provide clear
conditions for most, if not all of the upcoming week. The arctic air mass descending into the
center of the country will spill over to eastern Washington as well. The east/west pressure gradients tighten tonight for the development of a strong
easterly flow event tomorrow.

along the southern edge of the state on Thursday with the weekend trending dry and
warmer. No significant moisture is
expected at Stevens Pass for the next 7-10 days. That could easily change.
