Time and Day: Friday 11/7/14
The Snapshot: It’s good to see the sun
peaking through the morning fog. The
fog should burn off for a beautiful sunny day.
Tomorrow will be the same. Light
rain with some upper elevation snow is likely on Sunday.
The Science: As expected, high pressure
has built off of the Washington coast; this will bring dry and partly clear conditions
to the region. A weak disturbance will
track south along the Cascade Crest on Sunday dropping a little rain and snow
in the mountains.
4-7day
Long Range: High-pressure re-builds on
Monday for a dry and cool start to the week.
A large pool of arctic air descending into the intermountain west will bring
the coldest temperatures of the year to eastern Washington early next week.
