The Forecast:  Heavy snow will continue through tomorrow.  There will be a chance of some mixed rain at Pass level this afternoon /evening.

The Science:  Strong unstable westerly flow with convergence zone development will continue to pull in copious amounts of moisture through Saturday morning.  There will be a brief lull between systems tomorrow morning with the next push of heavy snow arriving tomorrow night.  Cooler air arrives tomorrow afternoon with freezing levels finally dropping below 4000’ late tomorrow night.  

Long Range. A drying trend begins on Sunday with next week starting out dry with clear periods.
