Discussion: Snow will show up this afternoon to drop a few inches on us overnight. High pressure will begin to dry things out tomorrow afternoon with another dry day on Sunday.
Long-term models show another system for Monday, dry Tuesday/Wed with another potential system after that. Temperature regime for next week looks cool for March.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Light snow should show up around 4pm today. Precipitation should be all wrapped up by 2pm tomorrow. Cool air aloft is mixing well so we shouldn’t see much in the form of rain.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels should drop to 4000’ by 4pm today and then slowly drop to 3000’ by midday tomorrow. Freezing levels will then begin its slow rise above pass level for Sunday.
Winds: Light southerly flow will prevail until the leading edge of the front hits sometime in the early morning hours. Could see a brief gusty period early tomorrow morning but this should be short lived.
