3/25/2009 Weather Discussion: Last night’s wonderful storm (12"new) will drift south today bringing an end to the snow. High pressure will produce dry weather tonight and tomorrow. Might even have a blue bird day tomorrow. Long-term models show a series of weather systems once again taking aim at the PNW starting Friday. Details to come. Forecast from Wednesday 4pm to Thursday 4am Precipitation 0 in. Water 0 in. Snow Temperatures Low 18 High 26 Winds 0-5 N Forecast for Thursday 4am to 4pm Precipitation 0 in. Water 0 in. Snow Temperatures Low 18 High 32 Winds 0-5 E TRENDS AND TIMING Precipitation: The snow should be all over by mid afternoon. Brief high pressure will keep the next 24 hours dry. Freezing levels: Clearing skies will allow surface temps to dip pretty low tonight. Freezing levels will slowly rise to 3000’ tonight and then a bit higher on Friday. Winds: Winds will taper today and then swing north than east overnight. Westerly’s will return on Friday.
