TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: The snow should become moderate to heavy through the night. Snow should taper to showers but stick around through Friday. Storm totals are impressive for this time of year with 2-4” of water possible by Friday.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will trend up to around +3500’ today. Temps should hover just below the freezing mark until a cold front brings them down tomorrow night.
Winds: The wind will play a role in this system too. Stiff convergence flow will override the moisture producing a steady breeze until the cold front passes early Friday.
