TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Clouds will thicken overnight bringing some very light rain to the mountains tomorrow afternoon. Rain should turn to snow overnight as a cold front slowly moves in.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will stay above pass level until after 4pm tomorrow. Freezing level will then trend down to 3500’ by early Thursday morning. Freezing levels will fluctuate between 3500’ and 4500’ for the rest of the week.
Winds: Weak east flow will shift westerly tomorrow. This system seems to lose its energy as it move east so the wind will not be much of a factor.
