Discussion: We will have a few days of dry and warmer weather courtesy of a passing high-pressure ridge. A weak system will pass through tomorrow night for a chance of some light precipitation on Friday.
Long-term models show high-pressure rebuilding on Friday – this will hopefully provide a nice sunny festival weekend.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: The atmosphere will begin to dry for the next 24 hours. Like yesterday, some thunderstorms could build later in the day. This could produce a passing shower or two.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will trend up to 5000’ tonight. Surface temperatures will drop below freezing tonight under clear skies. (diurnal swing) Temperatures will recover nicely tomorrow when the sun hits.
Winds: Winds will swing east then south through the next 24hours.
