Discussion: High pressure will build this afternoon, ending the precipitation. Warm, dry, sunny conditions will be on the menu for the weekend.
Long-term models show warm and dry weather through the middle of the week. Leavenworth could reach 80 degrees on Monday – cooler air with a chance of more moisture coming back into the mix later in the week.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Mixed rain and snow will slowly taper off today. The precipitation should be all said-and-done by 7 pm or so.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will trend down from 5500’ today to 4000’ by 4am. Freezing levels will then begin their climb to reach 10,000’ or higher by Monday.
Winds: Westerly flow will swing east then south by tomorrow morning. Light SW flow will persist through the weekend.
