Short term: With the exceptions of a few light snow showers floating around out there, the weekend will remain dry.

Long-term: More of the same through the middle of next week. There are some interesting changes to keep an eye on for later next week. The models are now shifting the northern jet north starting Thursday – this could bring a series of storms our way for the weekend.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: A slightly unstable, but dry atmosphere will continue to bring stagnate weather to the Cascade Mountains for the rest of the weekend.

Freezing levels: 2500-3500’. Freezing levels will lower slightly as cooler air makes it way from the intermountain northeast. Night surface temps could drop near +-20f depending on the cloud cover.

Winds: East flow will continue to be the pattern through the extended period. JDM
