Short term: Snow showers will continue today. There will be a little break tomorrow with another juicy system on the way tomorrow evening.

Long-term: Friday will be pretty active with the weekend looking just showery. With some luck from the east flow snow Gods, we should have some nice snow on the ground for the weekend crowd to enjoy.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: The snow will taper to showers after noon today. Light snow showers will continue through the night. There will be a lull tomorrow before the next frontal system moves in after 4pm. The rain snow game will then commence.

Freezing levels: 3500’-4000’. Freezing levels will hover near pass level through the night and may even inch down a bit. The warm front approaching tomorrow will bring freezing levels back up to 4500’ or higher – East flow will hopefully save the day again.

Winds: Westerly flow will continue through the day. East flow will develop tomorrow and become strong as the front approaches tomorrow evening. JDM
