3/9/2010 Weather
Short term: Sun breaks with passing light snow showers will continue today. A weak frontal system will move through tonight bringing some more light snow.

Long-term: This NW flow pattern will continue to bring cooler than normal temperatures and frontal systems through the PNW for the next two to four days. It is looking good for some snow Thursday and Friday with the weekend trending dry for now.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Snow will develop after closing today and continue through the night. Snow will taper to showers tomorrow. A stronger system will move in Thursday morning with the potential for some better accumulation.

Freezing levels: 1500-2500’. Freezing levels will trend tonight as the frontal system approaches. A gradual warming trend with freezing level inching toward pass level will occur in the next few days.

Winds: East flow will briefly develop this evening. A SW wind pattern will eventually take shape as these systems mature. JDM
