Short term: A cold front will push a band of moisture with cooler temperatures through the Pass tonight.

Long-term: A high pressure cell will build off the western coast this week. This will produce a dry spring like pattern for the remainder of the week.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Light rain changing to snow will show up right around closing today. Snow will change to showers early tomorrow morning and then taper off through the day.

Freezing levels: 2000-3000-. Freezing levels will quickly drop below 4000’ after 4pm today. Surface temps will continue to be low for the next few days.

Winds: East flow will swing westerly tonight and become gusty in the wake of the cold front. Expect some high winds late tonight. Winds should taper early tomorrow morning. JDM
