Short term: High pressure will build over the PNW today bringing dry and clearing conditions to the mountains.

Long-term: Dry and stable conditions, which translates to warm sunny days and cold clear nights, will continue for the rest of the week. The next chance of moisture will be sometime during the weekend.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: A stabilizing atmosphere will bring dry and clearing conditions to the mountains for the remainder of the week.

Freezing levels: 2000’-3000’. Cool NW flow aloft will continue to produce seasonally low freezing levels for the next few days. A melt freeze cycle will be possible as the sun heats up the surface during the days to come.

Winds: NW flow will rotate clockwise to settle on an easterly flow pattern over the next 24-36 hours. JDM
