Short term: Great skiing this morning. A high pressure will build over the PNW today. This will bring an end to the snow today and a dry day tomorrow.

Long-term: Another system will arrive on Sunday bringing with it more precipitation. We will once again play the rain/snow mix turning to snow game on Sunday. Next week looks cooler and wet- better for snow, so keep your board(s) tune up.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Snow will taper off today. Tomorrow will be dry with the next front moving in Sunday morning.

Freezing levels: 2500-3500’. Freezing levels will stay below pass level through the night. Temps will begin to rise with freezing levels rising above 5000’ after noon tomorrow. With the aid of some clearing there could be a wide diurnal swing in temperatures.

Winds: Wind will taper throughout the day. Westerly flow will continue through the night. East flow will develop in response to approaching front tomorrow. JDM
