So far with this storm cycle there has not been much to look at. We gotten a lot of snow over the past several days but with warm temps, no wind and low snow cover avalanche activity has been minimal.
Early this afternoon things changed. With light wind developing and very intense showers we are seeing 12" crowns in places--self regulating.
Still not much snow out yonder but with possible converg of Meriwethers forecast things may be different in the morning.
Those of you throwin powder take no prisoners. Buried sun crust on the south slopes that could produce later on, be good to break it up--ya know what I mean!!
