General Discussion: Cool and dry condition will continue through the weekend.
Long-term: A fairly significant pattern change will begin on Monday as a large low pressure system moves toward the PNW coast. Details on what this means for the mountains are still fuzzy, but moisture and warmer temperatures will be a part of the equation for the start of the week. See model below.
TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Other than a few light flurries, dry conditions will continue through the weekend.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will drop below 1000’ tonight and then begin to rise tomorrow. Freezing levels will hover between 2k and 3k through Sunday.
Winds: East flow will develop today and strengthen tomorrow. jdm
Both of the low pressure systems over Northern latitudes are pretty impressive.
