General Discussion: Last night’s storm stalled off the coast which has delayed the moisture until today.
Long-term: The pattern is slowly changing to a WNW flow. This should allow more systems to track towards the PNW for the remainder of the year.
TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Snow should arrive today and fall through the night. It will be possible to have a little rain snow mix in the base area, but it should be short lived, if at all.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will rise to 4000’and possible 4500’ tonight. East flow will keep surface temps near or below freezing. Cooler air will arrive on Sunday.
Winds: East flow will continue through the next 24-36hrs.
