General Discussion: A low pressure system (a cyclone) off the BC coast will continue to spin bands of moisture, with cooler temperatures, into the PNW today.

Long-term: Cool NW flow will continue to produce unsettled winter weather for most of the upcoming week.


TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Light snow with periods of moderate snow showers will continue through the next few days.

Freezing levels: Finally, freezing levels will fall below pass level for the most of the week. Freezing levels will slowly fall through the next 24 hrs reaching lower than 3000’ tomorrow night.

Winds: Sporadic southerly flow will produce east flow at the surface and SSW flow aloft. No significant wind events are expected for the next few days.
