General Discussion: The low pressure cell producing this awesome snow will slowly drift south along the Washington coast today. Bands of snow will continue to spin into the mountains through tomorrow.
Long-term: The snow will begin to taper off tomorrow afternoon with Friday looking dry and cold. Another system will slide down the BC coast on Saturday bringing more snow to the mountains. Warmer air will also arrive for the start of next week.
TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Light to moderate snow showers will continue through noon tomorrow.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will continue to be at or below sea level for the next few days. Watch for surface temperature to be below 0 in the next few days.
Winds: East flow will strengthen today. NE flow will dominate the pattern for the remainder of the week.
