General Discussion: A drying trend will begin today as the low pressure system slides into northern California today. The main weather feature will be the cold. Record breaking low temperatures will be possible for the next few mornings.

Long-term: Another system tracking in from the NW will bring more snow to the mountains late Saturday and Sunday. Warmer air will also arrive for the start of the week.

TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: Other than a few light snow showers lingering in the mountains, no more snow accumulation is expected for the next 24-36hrs.

Freezing levels: Freezing levels will continue to be at or below sea level through Saturday.

Winds: East flow will strengthen today and remain in place until Saturday.
