General Discussion: Another front will bring more snow into the mountains today.
Long-term: A series of fronts, barely distinguishable from one another, will provide a steady stream of moisture through the middle of the week. A generally pattern change is still developing for next weekend.
TRENDS AND TIMING
Precipitation: The snow will intensify today. There will be a short period of just showers this evening with snow ramping up again tomorrow morning. Storm totals by Tuesday may exceed + 3” of water.
Freezing levels: Freezing levels will bounce between 3500 and 4500’ through this entire storm cycle. East flow should help keep surface temps at or just below freezing.
Winds: Ridge top winds will shift from E to SW and strengthen tonight. East flow at the surface, will try and hold on through the night, but may switch to SW as well.
