General Discussion: A low pressure system, currently tracking down the southern BC coast, will begin to push the moisture south and bring and end to this storm after midnight tonight.

Long-term: There will be some spotty remnants snow showers circulating around the low on Friday and Saturday. The next system is expected to arrive sometime late Sunday/Monday with rising freezing levels and plenty of moisture to start out the week.

Trend and Timing:
A small imbedded band of snow will pass through after 4pm. The snow begins to taper off after midnight.

Low: 18 High: 26

Freezing level: 3000’ 1000’

Trend and Timing:
Cool air will settle over the region bringing lowering freezing levels and night time surface temperatures in the teens. Freezing levels could be as low as 500’ on Saturday.

Winds Speed/Direction
10-20 W tapering.

Trend and Timing:
This pesky westerly wind will finally begin to taper off tonight. Expect relatively light westerly flow tomorrow.
