This has been a very interesting storm to watch. It is very complex with imbedded occlusions and crazy temperature layering. It seems that the approaching warm front out west has stalled a bit. This must have allowed cool air in the upper atmoshpere to slide in from the north. Notice the north/south "bend" in the clouds along the southern BC coast. I hope the pocket of cold air hangs in there long as possible. Let it snow baby.
