Pesky High Pressure

The high pressure cell spinning out younder will wobble around through most of next week.  It doesn't seem to be weakening as quick as earlier thought.   The center of the high is quite a ways off shore - this is allowing  northerly flow to slide down the coast - this is the reason that clouds are forming along the crest and some unstable atmospheric conditions exist.   Not to mention these brisk winds.  Burrrr.

Note where the center (169) of the high is and the cooler northerly flow along the PNW interior.
