General Discussion: Another amazing sunny day in the mountains.

Long-term: The high pressure is slowly degrading (agonizingly slow) which should open the door to a pattern change starting late in the weekend. There is a storm of interest heading our way sometime during the middle of next week , but it is still too far out to have much confidence in the details.

Trend and Timing:
High pressure will keep the atmosphere stable through tomorrow. Some light snow is expected to make its way to the mountain on Sunday.

Low: 28 High: 40

Freezing level: 4000’ 7000’

Trend and Timing:
Freezing levels will rise to 7000’ just west of the crest today. Freezing levels will begin to descend tomorrow as cool NW flow develops. Freezing levels are expected to reach 2000’ or lower over the weekend.

Trend and Timing:
East flow will continue to move through the Pass for most of the day. Light mountain winds will swing SW to N through the weekend.
