General Discussion: Finally some good news in the weather. Snow tonight and tomorrow.

Long-Term. A high pressure ridge is expected build over the PNW on Saturday. This will likely set the weekend up to be dry and possibly sunny.

Trend and Timing:
Snow will arrive this afternoon and fall through the night. Snow will be heavy at times, with a short-lived mixed snow/rain event possible around midnight. Light to moderate snow will continue through most of tomorrow.

Freezing level: 3000’ 4000’

Trend and Timing:
Freezing levels will spike up to around 4000’ late tonight. Temps will then slowly fall through tomorrow with freezing levels reaching 2000’ or lower by Saturday.

0-5 E shifting 10-20 W

Trend and Timing:
Winds will flop back and forth from E to W until strong westerly flow takes over tomorrow. Persistent westerly winds will be something of a nuisance tomorrow and Saturday.
