General Discussion: Radar shows a nice looking storm just about to arrive on the coast. The front will bring snow to the mountains tonight and tomorrow.

Long-term: High pressure is expected to lift north tomorrow afternoon, this will produce dry and clear weather for the remainder of the week.

Trend and Timing:
Light snow will begin today and intensify overnight. Snow will turn to showers around noon tomorrow and then slowly taper off. Dry on Thursday and Friday.

Low: 26 High: 32
Freezing level: 4000’ 3500’

Trend and Timing:
Surface temperatures will stay on the mild side but with freezing levels staying just below 4000’. Surface temps will fall tomorrow afternoon as cool air filters in from the north.

Trend and Timing:
Winds aloft (5K) will shift southerly today with the arrival of the front. Local orographics will bring easterly winds at the surface through the Pass. Winds will shift back to W and then N tomorrow afternoon.
