General Discussion: Another great sunny day in the mountains. High clouds are making their way east as tomorrow’s front begins its approach.

Long-term: A strong NW jet stream will drive several winter storms through the PNW starting tomorrow night. Snow totals by the end of the weekend could exceed 15”.

Trend and Timing:
The atmosphere will remain dry through the night. The next band of moisture is expected to arrive mid day tomorrow. We could see a little rain at the start, but it should quickly turn to snow by the time the main event hits later in the day. Moderate snow is expected to continue through the weekend.

Trend and Timing:
East flow this morning has kept the freezing levels from rising too fast today. Freezing levels will continue to rise today as more warm air makes its way north. Temps will quickly fall tomorrow afternoon/evening.
