MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST


Time and Day: 0900 Wednesday
 

The Snapshot: Brr –14f this morning.  This morning’s fog should burn off for a sunny, dry and cold day.  It will be a bit warmer tomorrow with morning fog and afternoon sun.

 
The Science: High pressure building over the PNW will deliver clear and cool conditions for the remainder of the week.   Cold air will settle into the eastern basin setting up east flow at Passes. Warmer air from the south will creep in starting tomorrow allowing freezing levels to rise back up to seasonal norms.

 
4-7day Long Range: The high pressure centered over the PNW is expected to maintain dry conditions through early next week.
