November
is historically the wettest month of the year in the Pacific Northwest. It sure is starting out wet.
A
cold front will move over the Cascade Mountains today. This will launch the first (ok second)
significant snowfall of the seasons. Freezing
levels hovered around 5000’ through the night but will drop to 4000’ or lower
once the front moves passes the crest of the mountains. A foot or more of snow can be expected above
4000’ by the morning.
