Please take this with the caveat that long range models are usually wrong BUT:
I just did some math on the precipitation totals for the
approaching storm cycle, and they are well, impressive.
Starting Monday 4am and ending Friday 4pm - Water equivalent
= 6” – 11.5” IF snow that ranges between 50” -76”. The freezing levels will be rising and
falling +- 4000’ as these fronts move through.
With the cold air in the region, the first front (Sunday night) will be
snow will good east flow. Monday a warm front will push temps to near
32f. A stronger frontal system arrives Tuesday/Wednesday with high winds and heavy
precip. With some luck we could have several feet of
new snow on the ground by the weekend.
