The Snapshot: Rain tomorrow, snow on Sunday, dry Monday and Tuesday,
snow ending the week.
The Science: A warm front approaching the PNW will spread
rain inland tomorrow. A cold front will follow tomorrow night
breaking up the moisture flow and dropping freezing levels to +- 4000’ on
Sunday. There will be a chance of a few
inches of snow Sunday afternoon/evening.
An upper-level ridge will produce mainly dry weather on Monday and
Tuesday.
Long
Range: Wednesday will be the first of
two winter storms with the potential of producing some measurable snow for Stevens
Pass. The second front is expected on
Friday.
Wednesday storm:
It is still bit far out for details to be reliable, but as of now, there
is a chance to have 8-14” of snow on the ground Thursday morning. Friday’s front will be a bit warmer with some
snow vs. rain challenges.
