Time and Day: 0900 Thursday
The Snapshot: Light snow today, dry tomorrow, rain on Saturday,
mixed rain and snow on Sunday. More winterish
storms on the way next week.
The Science: The snow currently falling will taper off this
afternoon as an upper-level ridge builds over the region. Not much happening tomorrow as the high-pressure

the mountains early Saturday morning.

adding some snow to the mix. (sound familiar?) There will be good chance of a few more inches
of snow Sunday night into Monday. Another
frontal system with potential significant snow is taking shape for the middle
of next week. This is the system to
watch.
