Time and Day: 0800 Thursday
The Snapshot: Clouds roll in today with a chance of light
rain and possibly a thunderstorm or two.
Cooler with rain starting tomorrow and lasting through the weekend.
The Science: Surface temperatures peaked around 650 yesterday
and should climb into the 600 again today. A cold unstable air mass begins to push in
tomorrow with rain showers developing through the weekend. With the cool, moist air hitting the warm, dry air, cumulus
build up with thunderstorms will be
possible.
Rain showers begin
tomorrow and will last through Saturday. More steady light rain can be expected on Sunday. It doesn’t appear that temperatures will not be
low enough to get any snow accumulation, but there could certainly be some snow
mixed in.
The Long Range: Next week will be cooler with periodic rain
showers throughout.
