12/8 sun crust layer (down 50 cm) would be the layer of concern, and the same one that the Highland Bowl slide ran on. But it was non-reactive. Next concern will be the sun crust on the surface with the few cm's of low density snow and/or surface hoar that may form in the next two days, and get a warmer snow load on top of it.
