MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST



Stevens Pass Mountain Weather Forecast
Day and Time:  Thursday 1030am

The Snapshot:  This beautiful weather will continue through the weekend.  Expect a change to a cooler wetter weather pattern next week.

The Forecast:  The mountains will remain dry with mid to high level clouds developing through the weekend.  Temperatures will remain on the warm side with daytime temps peaking in the upper 50’s.  Early morning temps in the upper 30’s.   

 Long Range: Expect rain, cooler temperatures and some possible high mountain snow staring on Tuesday.

Sky: Partly cloudy with high cirrus clouds
Radar: Dry conditions throughout the state.

The diurnal (24hr) temperatures will remain consistent (L30’s/H50’s) with light SSE flow.  Freezing levels will be +- 8-10,000’.   

The high pressure system that has dominated the weather pattern will slowly begin to weaken over the next 3-5 days.  A low pressure system developing in the Gulf of Alaska will begin it move toward the PNW early next week.  Exact impacts are still very much in question.  However, a change to a more seasonal wet weather pattern is likely.
