The Forecast:  Dry and warmer today with rain entering the mountain late tomorrow night. 

Long Range:  Mixed rain and snow can be expected Wednesday through Saturday.
  
The Science: A triple point storm is brewing offshore and will bring rain and high mountain snow to the Cascade Mountains starting late tomorrow night.  Warm SW flow out ahead of the leading warm front will push daytime temperatures into the mid to upper 40’s this afternoon and then again tomorrow.  

The leading band of moisture should reach the mountains sometime after sunset tomorrow.   Freezing levels will start out around 7000’ and then fall to +-5000’ by Wednesday.   The moisture will keep streaming in through the week with periods of mixed rain and snow above 4500’.   

Storm totals Wednesday through Saturday could exceed 3” of water, 6-12” of snow above 4000’.
