The Science: A triple point frontal system tracking north
into BC will bring high clouds today with mixed snow and rain for the Cascades
tomorrow. Freezing levels will drop to
+-4500’ tomorrow, so expect some snow mixed in with the rain at Pass
level.
High pressure, stationed off the PNW coast will
strengthen and drift east over the weekend.
This will likely produce a blocking and offshore flow pattern for the
PNW. In other words, a prolonged dry
period with seasonally average (cool) temperatures.
