The Forecast:  Clear, cool and dry weather will settle over the PNW today.

Long Range: Dry and mostly clear weather with seasonally cool temperatures will persist through at least the upcoming weekend.
  
The Science:  A blocking ridge of high pressure will dominate the weather pattern for the next 7+ days.  A cold arctic air mass dropping into the intermountain west will create cold offshore flow for the PNW.  Watch for early morning freezing temperatures and gusty easterly winds tomorrow.  Temperatures trend warmer towards the end of the week.  Enjoy.
