Radar:   A high cirrostratus layer is moving through with clearing to the west.  Dry conditions are being observed state wide.

The Forecast:  Dry and warm today and tomorrow with cooler temperatures arriving on Wednesday.

Long Range:  No significant precipitation is expected for the week with a possibility of some light rain over the upcoming weekend.
  
The Science:  The high pressure system parked over the PNW waters will remain solidly in place through the week.  Some of the cold artic air descending into the Great Plains will make its way west starting on Wednesday. This will create a cooler offshore flow pattern with freezing levels dropping to or below 4000’.  Unseasonably warm air will return over the weekend under a SW flow pattern.
