MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

Stevens Pass Mountain Weather Forecast
Day and Time:  Thursday 11/7/2019, 1400

The Forecast: Dry and warm with increasing high clouds tonight and tomorrow.  Light passing rain showers can be expected early Saturday morning.  Temperature will remain unseasonably warm through the weekend.

Long Range:  Light passing rain showers with sun breaks will be the pattern through the weekend.  Long range models have a system moving through on Tuesday with a rain snow mix event taking shape.  The remainder of the week appears to be mostly dry and a touch cooler.

The Science: The high pressure that has been parked over the PNW will slowly begin to weaken over the next 3-5 days.  This will open the door for some weak systems to track through the regions.

Long range (next week and beyond) models are not showing any significant snow events for the PNW.
