The Forecast: Clear and dry weather will be pattern for the
rest of the week.
Long Range:
The next chance of rain or snow
will be Saturday /Sunday. Next week is
looking interesting with snow likely.
The Science: High pressure will build over the region
today with a dry, cool ENE flow pattern developing. Temperatures will slowly warm over the next
few days as the pressure ridge slowly drifts through.
The next system of interest enters the region
over the weekend. The northern jet stream
takes aim at the PNW from the NW. This
should allow cool unstable NW flow to bring some snow our way. This is still a ways out for models to agree
on the details, so stay tuned as things develop.
Confidence: Good short term, fair in the long range.
Values from
4am today through 4am tomorrow.
