The Forecast: Rain today with
tonight and tomorrow trending dry. Temperatures will be a bit cooler tonight but
not cool enough.
Long Range: Rain returns for the weekend with
freezing levels +-5000’. No significant
snow accumulation expectedL. Next week will start out dry with another
chance of moisture on Wednesday.
The Science: The atmosphere will dry out tonight
as pressure gradients weaken. Warm SW
flow will keep a warm air regime over the PNW through at least the middle of
next week. A low pressure system will
bring rain showers to Stevens pass on Friday. A high pressure ridge slides into
place early next week with cooler temperatures expected.
Long range outlooks points to late next week as
our next chance of snow.
Confidence: Good.
