3/29/2008 Weather Discussion: Snow showers with cool temperatures will continue through tomorrow. We should have a very similar day tomorrow as we have today. Long-term models show high pressure to our west slowly inching its way over the PNW. This will bring a dry but unseasonable cool week to the mountains. Forecast from Saturday 4pm Sunday 4am Precipitation .25 in. Water 3-5 in. Snow Temperatures Low 22 High 30 Winds 5-10 W Forecast for Sunday 4am to 4pm Precipitation .25 in. Water 1-3 in. Snow Temperatures Low 22 High 30 Winds 5-10 WNW TRENDS AND TIMING Precipitation: Moderate snow showers should ramp back up tonight -could see a moderate shower or two around midnight. Showers should slowly taper off after 10pm tomorrow. Freezing levels: Day time temps will creep up to the low 30’s but the freezing levels will remain very low for this time of the year. Tomorrow we will see the same diurnal effect. Winds: A cool NW flow will continue through Monday -shouldn’t see much in the way of winds for a while. jdm
